Our Services
Individual Counseling
Individual Counseling makes up a large part of what we do at OakRings Christian Counseling. We routinely treat individuals battling anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, life stage adjustments, spiritual issues and trauma. We don’t look down on anyone but want to join and help our clients look up to the hope and healing offered in Christ. The road often looks a bit different for each person but we do our best to find an approach that is tailored for each person we help.
Marriage / Pre-Marriage Counseling
Pre-Marriage Counseling is fun AND very important. We have most of our couples take an assessment that will help determine strength and growth areas. This speeds up the process to help provide insight and the tools necessary to build a strong marital foundation.
For Marriage Counseling, we utilize the best research on marital relationships to help assess and repair the damage that has occurred. Our approach embodies the essence of Christian marriage counseling, focusing on hope, healing, and reconciliation. We understand that strong marriages create strong kids. The impact that a healthy marriage can have on a family tree is immeasurable.
Family Counseling
We are all part of a system and there are times where it’s difficult to treat a part when the entire system is at play. While the system may or may not play a major role in the problem, it often can play a large role in bringing about positive change.
This can often be true when working with kids and teens. Often times the child has little control over their lives and it takes working with the system to provide the help required for lasting change.
Telehealth / Online Counseling
We often decry the pushing in of technology in our lives but there are pieces of it that are very helpful! With busy schedules, married with kids, etc - sometimes the best option is to meet online via a HIPPA approved telehealth service. This is a service we provide on a weekly basis and can be very effective.
Sometimes this service is a stand alone service, but often we utilize a more hybrid approach, doing both online and in-person sessions periodically.
Schedule a complimentary consultation
We would love to hear from you and see if we can help you on your journey. We’ve found that the best way to get started is with a free 5-10 minute phone consultation. It’s also best to schedule that as I may be fishing ;-).
